Sculptural Ambient Lighting – Functional Art for Modern Living
The “Ray & Nova” light fixtures are the second in a series of sculptural, artistic lighting pieces designed to elevate everyday living into an aesthetic experience. These works blur the line between art and function, transforming the traditional bedside lamp into a luminous sculpture.
Each fixture exudes precision and refinement while maintaining a striking architectural presence. The geometric forms radiate a warm ambient glow through dimmable LED technology, creating an atmosphere of intimacy and calm.
Both fixtures can be seamlessly integrated into wireless smart home systems, making them not only visually compelling but also fully adaptable to modern lifestyles.
Designed for nightstands or as accent pieces in contemporary interiors, “Umber & Amber” embody the harmony of minimalism, innovation, and artistry - lighting that doubles as sculpture.
A Bauhaus-Inspired Light Object
Cast Concrete, Resin and LED
H=17” | Edition 50 | 2026
Yawn is a sculptural nightstand lamp shaped from strict geometry - stacked blocks, sharp right angles, and a cantilevered vertical that feels architectural. Cast in solid concrete, the form reads as heavy, precise, and unapologetically industrial, echoing the Bauhaus belief in clarity, structure, and material honesty.
At the top, the severity breaks. Two recessed, softly glowing “eyes” sit beneath a thick, brow-like overhang, giving the piece an unmistakable expression. The posture feels tired, slightly slouched—more attitude than character—introducing a dry, understated humor that contrasts with the rigid geometry.
The result sits squarely in the Bauhaus spirit I admire: disciplined, functional, and stripped down—yet human enough to feel alive.
Cast bronze, broken glass, tinted clear resin and sand
low voltage LED light

weight ca. 32 LBS, Edition of 9, 2025
This newest table lamp features a cast bronze base and a resin shade embedded with fractured wine glasses—an evocative interplay of strength and fragility. More than a source of light, it’s a meditation on transformation and form, where design becomes both poetic and precise. Handcrafted in limited numbers, each lamp reflects Reutimann’s commitment to timeless beauty, purpose, and permanence.
A Sculptural Interpretation of Light
Cast Concrete, Resin, LED
H=24” | Edition 50 | 2026
This sculptural table lamp takes its cue from the most elemental source of light—a candle held upright in its holder—reinterpreted through an industrial, architectural lens. The familiar form is stripped of ornament and reduced to mass, geometry, and proportion.
The body is cast in concrete, its faceted surfaces emphasizing weight, density, and material honesty. Visible planes and sharp transitions recall industrial fabrication rather than domestic decoration. Rising from this solid base, a diffused light element appears almost suspended, creating a deliberate tension between heaviness and illumination.
Conceived first as a sculpture and only then as a functional object, the lamp treats light as a material in itself. It does not aim to create atmosphere through warmth, but through presence.
Produced in limited editions in the artist’s studio, each piece is made using the same processes and mindset as large-scale sculptural work.
Sculptural Light Object
Carbon Fiber | Automotive Paint
Edition 100 | 2026
Baby Cadillac humorously imagines the iconic 1959 automobile as if it had just been born. Its smooth, flowing body and tail-fin silhouette feel alive rather than engineered — like the first moment an icon takes shape. The two illuminated elements reference the unmistakable 1959 Cadillac taillights, distilled into clean, sculptural details.
Playful yet refined, the piece combines wit with precision, finished to the standard of a high-end collectible design object.
